North Pacific Pro came into existence under the GWA umbrella in 2018, based in Seattle, with contracts held in Boise, and Portland. It talked up a grunge appeal, with one foot in the ultraviolent scene and one foot outside. The "Commissioner" of NPP never showed up to any GWA board meetings, never showed their face on any INFAMY, and communicated via...typewriter(?).
NPP crowned a North Pacific Champion, and made it to their first supershow before hitting a cog in the machine. The event happened around the time the GWA companies were almost all bought out by Chuck Mathews at the time, though no news was ever announced if that was the case with NPP. The Darkest Day never aired, and NPP went cold...
until the NPP twitter, formerly/currently(?) run by "Two Buck" Chuck started posting random gifs, before airing the missing show.
Now, contracts are being sent out, North Pacific Pro somehow operating under their own name, and seemingly still being owned by Mr. Typewriter. The contracts state NPP will hold a similar schedule, albeit every other Sunday.
One has to wonder exactly what went on, what's been going on to reach this point, and how this is going to effect the old and new competitors of NPP.
